Pachamama Cafe Expansion

We are so excited to partner with Pachamama Co-op to build out a new cafe space in our store.

The new cafe will be located in the current downstairs dining area and will be accessible from inside the store as well as offering a pickup window outside. Guests will be able to order inside like they do now or place orders online and pickup at the window – cool right?

This buildout will allow us to streamline some things in our food service areas, move and expand our sushi case, expand refrigeration for more food offerings and make general improvements to better serve you, our guests!

During construction the downstairs dining area will be closed. We will be adding additional tables and chairs to the downstairs outdoor patio area as well as upstairs where we can to accommodate diners. The construction is planned to take 7 weeks to completion, if there are no delays.

Pachamama was created by farmers, for farmers.

Pachamama is a roaster and retailer of specialty coffee collectively owned by thousands of small family farms across Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Ethiopia. Founded in 2006, Pachamama has been serving its producer members for nearly two decades. By working together, across borders and with US-based staff, Pachamama’s founding members were able to form the first global cooperative in North America owned by farmers outside of the country.

Pachamama’s business model is ‘farm-to-consumer” and the farmers involved not only grow the coffee, but roast and deliver their Certified Organic coffee in the United States via national wholesale distribution, three retail cafés (soon to be 4!), and a direct-to-consumer website.
