Join Lucia as she teaches you how to make pizza dough from scratch and turn that dough into a calzone where you make a mozzarella, Italian sausage, and roasted pepper filling. While your calzones are baking, you will make a homemade red sauce for dipping your calzone. Italian wine will be available for sale in the class.

About the Instructor: Lucia Oliverio’s philosophy is cooking should be fun and uncomplicated, creating the best memories with your family in the process. Recipes should be simple, taking the freshest ingredients and elevating them. Lucia’s Italian immigrant mother and grandmother are her mentors who started her cooking journey. At 21, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Since then, she has learned about food’s power in healing the body. Lucia has a BS in Science in Nutrition and Food.
