Dear SNFC Member-Owners,

We hope you are well and enjoying the shift to crisper days as the seasons change and we also find ourselves in a season of transition. We are delighted to announce that after a thorough and rigorous search process, the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op (SNFC) Board of Directors is pleased to appoint Brian Munn as our new General Manager.

The GM Search Committee conducted a nationwide search and diligently reviewed over fifteen highly qualified candidates. From this extensive pool of applicants, we identified three outstanding finalists. In late October, the Board convened in a closed session to carefully evaluate each candidate’s qualifications, vision, and commitment to our co-op values. 

After thoughtful deliberation, the Board voted to appoint Brian Munn as the new General Manager of SNFC. Brian brings a wealth of experience, strong leadership, visionary ideas, and alignment with our co-op’s mission, values, and community. As of November 13th, we’ve executed a contract agreement with Brian.

We want to take this opportunity to extend gratitude to Brian for his leadership, alongside the Strategic Leadership Team, during the past eight months as interim general manager. His dedication and expertise have been instrumental in keeping our co-op on a positive track during this transitional period. 

We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to you, our valued member-owners, for your patience and support throughout this rigorous selection process. Your trust in our commitment to making a well-informed decision has been invaluable, and we are grateful for your understanding.

As we move forward, we will focus on developing a new strategic plan that aligns with our shared vision for the co-op’s future. This is an opportunity for growth, innovation, and collaboration, and we are committed to working together to strengthen our co-op community.
