Asparagus & Green Garlic Saute, with Lemon and Parm

Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 green garlic
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions

Break off fibrous bottoms of asparagus. Cut into pieces of desired size, or leave whole.

Cut off roots and top of green garlic, and thinly slice white portion of stalk.

In a medium sized pan, bring oil to medium heat.

Add green garlic and asparagus, stirring to coat with oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Saute asparagus to desired doneness. Transfer to a serving dish.

Top with freshly squeezed lemon juice and grated reggiano parmigiano cheese. Serve immediately .
