Banana Bread
This is a simple recipe for classic banana bread using fair trade bananas that comes out moist and delicious.

Ingredients
- 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ c. room temperature unsalted butter
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 ½ c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. sea salt
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. toasted walnuts, chopped (optional)
- ½ c. raisins (optional)
Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 bread loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Mix in bananas, eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt then add to batter. Fold in walnuts and raisins and pour into prepared loaf pan.

Bake at for 55-60 min or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let banana bread rest for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
