Dear Community and Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op Members,

We want to share an update about our General Manager, Brian Munn, who was in a serious dirt biking accident on November 25th. This challenging time has prompted us to rally together and support Brian, his wife Dana, and their children. To help ease their financial burden during the months ahead, the family has initiated a GoFundMe which can be accessed for donations and updates to Brian’s condition and recovery. 

The family has been grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the co-op community and it has been a tremendous source of strength for Brian and his loved ones.

Several weeks have passed since the accident, and Brian is showing remarkable progress. He’s determined and dedicated to his physical and occupational therapy, working towards independence while using specialized equipment. Alongside this, he’s cherishing time spent with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors during his therapy breaks.

The family is grateful for Brian’s return home for the holiday while deeply appreciating the care he received during rehabilitation. His wife Dana will continue to keep the GoFundMe page updated on his recovery journey.

The Co-op and the family thank those staff and members who have already offered support and messages.

At this time, Tyler Burch is acting in the Interim GM role, a role he has performed for our co-op in the past, and with the support of the top leadership team and the board of directors.
