Felicia Thomas-Hill — Board Member

As a child, my mother’s membership at the Co-op instilled in me the importance that health begins with what we place inside our body, mind, and spirit. It is my desire to continue this legacy by bringing a diverse voice and perspective to our board. As your board member I will listen first and work to create a welcoming space for all members. This begins with the goal of filling the gaps of food insecurity and access to healthy food alternatives to the surrounding Oak Park and Midtown communities. 

I will draw upon this belief system as I work side by side with board members to engage our community and build a cooperative that will not only represent the multi-faceted perspectives of our members, but also our rich and diverse local farmers, food artisans, and purveyors of a healthy and balanced life.
