Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 Hard-boiled eggs
  • 4 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Pickle brine (or apple cider vinegar)
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Freshly ground pepper

Cooking Instructions

To make perfect hard boiled eggs for deviled eggs, cover the eggs with water in a pot, cover and bring to a boil. Turn off heat and allow the eggs to cook for 15 minutes. Plunge each egg into an ice bath to cool before you peel.

Carefully peel each hard-boiled egg. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and scoop egg yolks out with a spoon.

In a small bowl, combine yolks and remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. A small food processor or an immersion blender can help to make it ultra smooth. Fill a piping bag (or plastic bag with a 1/2″ hole cut into the corner) with the egg yolk mixture and pipe in about 1 tablespoon of filling into each egg white half.

Garnish with optional toppings and serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate to serve within 24 hours.
