Board of Directors
Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op is run by a nine-person Board of Directors elected by our Co-op members in an annual election held each September. The primary responsibilities of the Board of Directors are to provide overall direction and ensure the long-range security and viability of the Co-op.
I was born and raised in Sacramento, and it’s an honor to serve our Co‑op as a Board Member. After transforming my own health through natural, whole foods, I’m committed to helping our community access high‑quality local food and supporting the farmers who make it possible.

As a farmer, agricultural scientist, and longtime Sacramento resident, I care deeply about building a strong and equitable local food system. I’m committed to supporting SNFC’s cooperative values by uplifting member participation and ensuring our offerings remain accessible, inclusive, and culturally relevant.

I love everything our Co‑op stands for, from its mission and values to the sense of community it creates. I’m excited to collaborate with fellow board members to strengthen our foundations, better serve our members, and deepen our ties to the community.

Growing up in a place dependent on imported food shaped my passion for food resilience and sustainability. I’m motivated by the Co‑op’s mission of providing healthy, accessible food and look forward to supporting farmers and families through my role on the board.
