Date Cookie Dough

This is a decadent vegan and gluten free dessert that highlights fresh dates. There are endless possibilities with this recipe!

    Ingredients

    • 1 c. pitted Barhi dates, pitted and soaked for about 5 minutes in hot water
    • 1 1/2 c. blanched almond flour
    • 1 Tbsp ground flax seed
    • 2 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 c. almond butter
    • 1/2 tsp sea salt, more to taste
    • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips 

    Cooking Instructions

    1Add all ingredients except chocolate chips into food processor and pulse until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

    2Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to two weeks.

    3Enjoy by the spoonful! There are infinite possibilities with this recipe! Add your favorite ingredients like coconut, toasted nuts, dried fruits, and spices like cinnamon and cardamom.
